Hermaeus Alchemical is a clandestine pharmaceuticals corporation known almost exclusively by the recognisable sigil found etched onto the side of discarded booster canisters that litter the cockpits of fighter pilots across almost every Empire's front lines.
Comprised of a ragtag outfit of outcasts, rebels and dreamers, Hermaeus operates and is structured in a manner akin to the nomadic Thukker caravans of the Wildlands - emerging from secretive Anoikis outposts in jury-rigged huffers to extract valuable nebulae gas from pirate infested, wartorn systems.
Escorted by a private fleet of mercenaries, their laser scorched haulers return to a network of covert research laboratories where the gas is refined into a crystalline form before being utilised in the production of advanced electronics, weaponry and boosters, ready for sale to the highest bidders.
