A small, smouldering cinder in the cold, harsh universe of EVE Online. There is always a madness in the method and we try not to make plans then nothing can go wrong but find that plans often form themselves from the chaotic goings on around us and we just tag along for the ride. If those plans work out to our benefit, all is well and good, perhaps they won't and we'll all end up strapped into shopping trolleys with broken wheels hurtling down hill towards a horde of angry midgets wielding flame throwers. Cue end of season cliff hanger.
We play for fun and if we get to burn something along the way, all the better! Taking things too seriously isn't what we're into, we can put on our serious face when needed but usually it's with tongue firmly in cheek in anticipation of the chance to throw some irrevenence in there. We're happy to help new players find their way in the game and hope to teach those we take under our dirty, broken wing that even though internet spaceships are serious business, in the end it's just pixels, that if you get too attached to that shiny ship you're flying around in then you're heading for disappointment. Nothing wrong with feeling stupid when you get your pixels blown up, we all do, that's healthy, it means you know you made a mistake and you'll figure out where you went wrong and do better next time, hopefully.
We have no time for those that rage like wounded hippos or have entitlement issues. If you don't realise quickly that EVE isn't a game to hold your hand and wrap you in cotton wool then you won't last long with us. We enjoy a good bit of drama now and then, that's what drives the game, but in the end it's only ones and zeroes, it's just a game, HTFU and get on with it.
